High frame rate (HFR) support
ICMP-X supports 2K 3D content up to 120 frames per second (60 fps per eye), enabling smooth playback of action-packed scenes. 25 fps support is standard.
4K resolution and multi-format support
Enables 4K content playback for sharp, detailed images. In addition to DCI content, it also supports MPEG-2 (4:2:0 and 4:2:2 up to 60 fps), providing flexibility for alternative content.
Fast content ingest
With two Gigabit Ethernet ports and two front USB 3.0 ports, the ICMP-X enables rapid content transfer to the device.
Integrated RAID-5 storage
Integrated storage up to 8 TB SSD (RAID-5) provides fast content access and data protection.

The Barco ICMP-X combines the functionality of an Integrated Cinema Processor (ICP) and a media server onto a single board, which forms the backbone of Barco Alchemy digital cinema projectors. Reducing the hardware footprint increases simplicity and reliability throughout the entire projection booth. The smart projector even detects potential operational errors and alerts the operator if something goes wrong. It ships with a rich set of inputs for alternative content and the most powerful DCI decoding engine on the market.
The BARCO ICMP-X is fully future-ready and significantly upgrades the capabilities of your projector. It works great alongside a TMS (Theatre Management System) in multiplexes, and a projector fitted with the ICMP-X performs equally well in single-screen cinemas. Barco ICMP-X is DCI-compliant and meets Compliance Test Plan (CTP) version 1.2.
