A smart 4K cinema projector of the Series 4 family
The SP4K-55B is part of Barco's Series 4 portfolio, designed in close collaboration with industry partners: a market leading 4K projector family, designed for cinema. The SP4K models come with a range of lumen options and compatibility with both Barco lenses and selected third-party lenses, so you can match the projector to your specific needs.
Brilliant image, ready for tomorrow
The Series 4 brings native 4K resolution, higher contrast and enhanced uniformity to the movie theater; Barco Active Image Management with its patented precision brightness technology guarantees flawless images with automatic white balance. Barco Colorgenic technology opens up the full P3 color space and more than 98.5% of Rec. 2020, and the SP4K-55B is fully enabled for future innovations like 4K HFR, delivering stunning results consistently throughout the product's lifetime.
Barco EcoPure: quiet and efficient
Running at 51 dB(A), this silent projector is fully ready for boothless operation. It manages its power consumption smartly, resulting in a high projector efficiency of 13.3 lm/W, and in eco mode it consumes less than 3 Watts. Remote wake on LAN is available for scheduled maintenance or content ingest.
Fit and forget
The modular design of the Series 4 projectors keeps maintenance cost-effective: only six Barco Laser Plate spare parts service all light source configurations, and anyone can replace the filters thanks to the toolless cover and filter handling. The SP4K-55B integrates seamlessly into your current setup.
